Firmware corrupted trying to make an upgrade Edited by User5206859900 at 2018-03-26 12:52
Phone: Meizu M3s Firmware version: Flyme 5.1.5 2G I tried to make an upgrade by 3 different ways: 1. Using built-in Update application. 2. By downloading new Flyme firmware from here: http://www.flymeos.com/firmwarelist?modelId=33&type=1 I placed update.zip to Downloads/Upgrade/Firmware. Then clicked it in File Explorer, and then selected "Update". 3. By using the Recovery mode, as described here: http://forum.flymeos.com/thread-18-1-1.html Flashing Failure and Solution In all these cases, I get Firmware Corrupt message. I don't beleive that all these downloads were corrupted, but my phone constantly refuses to accept these files. Is there anything else I can do to upgrade the phone?

Download the update.zip on a PC and connect your phone in Recovery Mode and copy it to device and try to update!

I see many users in this forum with the same problem. Should I try this:
http://forum.flymeos.com/thread-17837-1-1.html HOW TO INSTALL GLOBAL FLYME ROM FOR MEIZU M3S Chinese Version or my case is different? AFAIK, my version is not Chinese. Any other options?

No solution for now. Is there any other way to get MEIZU support?
