Camera comparison among MX5, MX6 & PRO 6It has been a week since MX6 launched, our users are wondering how the camera performs, here we made a review of the camera, compare with MX5 and PRO 6, here we go:

In this group, PRO 6 performs quite good in both colors and details, as MX6 only has 12MP, the resolution is lower than the other 2 devices Color: PRO > MX6 > MX5 Detail: PRO 6 > MX5 > MX6 4. Backlighting condition
In the backlighting condition, MX6 keeps good color (see the green chair on the right) and has better light control, while PRO 6 makes the picture over exposure Light control: MX6 > MX5 > PRO 6 5. HDR mode

In the nightmode, MX5 makes the general light brighter, which bring more noise points and less detail, PRO 6 keeps more details in the picture Nightmode: PRO 6 > MX6 > MX5 Conclusion: 1. As a model one year ago, the picture quality of MX5 is still not bad, can satisfy your daily usage ; 2. As a model with the new sensor IMX386, MX6 performs better in colors and extreme conditions, which enhanced the successful rate of photo shoot, I believe it will perform better with further optimization and new firmware updates; 3. PRO 6 is performing good in picture details and color control Which do you think is the best camera among these 3 models?

Difficult to pick a clear winner... All the 3 of them are almost equally matched... But I personally like the MX6 camera pictures a bit more among the 3 of them... While the MX5 still looks strong even after an year...

Well done Jack, almost identical pictures for 12Mp camera showed great MX6, it would be good to have a comparison and M3 note and M3.

Why you did not include pro5 in this compression ? yes, it has the same IMX 230 sensor but, I believe the quality of pro5 pictures is better than pro6

Definitely MX6 is a winner here, with just 13 Megapixels it gave good pictures, if it was a 20 Megapixels definitely details would be an overkill feature too.

Pro 6 with IMX 230 over exposes and less colour balance! Unsaturated colours and low contrast makes it as a last in the line!
MX5 with IMX 214 is an year old device...still survives....better colour reproduction and enormous details. Mx6 with IMX 386, 1.25um, f/2.0 makes it as a clear winner! Colour reproduction and light control are the most needed feature in smartphone photography! major devices face these problems.....To keep details, They fail to control the light and de-saturating the colour..... Mx6 does it better......and it outperforms the pro 6! | |
