[Debate]Which one do you think is better? Customized ROM or Stock Android?

SignatureFlyme, go global! |

If I start here now, the list will be too long to read because of the pros stock android has. But if anyone listens to "Android Authority Podcast", then he/she will get why stock is better.

I prefer Customized ROM as it has more features than Stock Android, and offers more customization!

Thanks @MZ_JackZhang for this Debate Thread options!
This was much needed! | |

Customized OS is better because they give you many features built-in that are not there in Stock Android and if you want those in Stock Android you have to use a third party app. For example, Flashlight feature is built-in in Flyme but if you have stock android, you will have to download a third party flashlight app from the playstore which might contain annoying ads.

If updates are frequent, I prefer customized rom.

Customised ROMs as it offers a lot of customization and stands to be different from the stock Android along with some useful features not found in stock android eaxctly like how Aditya has stated above... Useful features inbuilt and optimised for your phone rather than having the need to install additional apps in your phone...

I stand neutral, cos android versions released are quite stable....but a customised ROM maybe filled with bugs....android stock version might not have all the features that are included in a custom ROM..but in the end all are same....except for a change in UI and a zillion features embedded or downloaded.

I think for user customized r
ROM is better because offer many feature that makes phone looks great.. But for developer stock ROM is better :)

Only one problem with Custom ROMs is they take quite some time to adopt newer Android versions! I like both stock android and custom ROMs but stock android is a better experience as you get the same experience that Google wants you to have. But Flyme 5 retains most of the elements of Stock Android, so its pretty fast while being customizable as well.
