.if your model is 721h the proccess is simple
.no id changing is required

.there are 2 ways of doing it
through stock recovery and through the file manager
the G recovery is smaler than the A recovery
the G firmware zip file is smaler than the A
so when you are in G  and want go to A the firmware size is biger than the recovery size
you can only go from G to latest A use 2nd method with file manager
this is not an issue when moving from A to G


1st method
.for A go to https://www.flyme.cn/firmwarelist-143.html.for G go to http://www.flymeos.com/firmwarelist?modelId=94&type=1
.download latest beta or stable(named trial) flyme 7 CN . have in mind not to select Q or M but the A  version
.make sure you have at least 2,4GB of free space in your internal storage
.put update.zip you downloaded in the base of your interal storage
.not in sd card , not inside a folder just the base of internal storage
.kepp the name update.zip it is important for the system to understand it as an update file
.navigate with the stock file manager to that fiile
.when you hit it it is automaticaly identified as an update file from system
.you are prompted to select if you also want to wipe data or only update
.select both
.phone reboots to recovery
.after a while you are updated
.remember to delete the rom file to fre up space you no longer need it

2nd method

using your pc go to  https://www.flyme.cn/firmwarelist-143.html for A and .,  http://www.flymeos.com/firmwarelist?modelId=94&type=1 for G
.download  latest beta or stable(named trial) flyme 7 CN . have in mind not to select Q or M but the A  version
.hold down power offf
.press restart
.hold down vol up & power buton
.your phone vibrate and you see the meizu logo
.release keyes.
.phone enters recovery
.conect phone to pc
.a recovery folder apears to pc(its size is 2GB when you are G and 2,4GB  when you are on A rom
.move update.zip from pc to recovery folder
.tic both update and clear data on phone
.hit start
.after a while phone boot up updated
.the update.zip file automaticaly deleted from system

looks like you have a global rom on a chinese? model i'm not aware of 721m model (check your model version from your serial)
i dont see that anything can go wrong if you use 1st method with file explorer

yeah, apparently there are tow Chinese variants, 721q and 721m.The seller flashed the global rom on it which changed the model to 721h. yes I would try your method and revert. Thanks.

yeah flashed the Chinese rom by just downloading the zip file and updating through the file manager. I had to go back to global rom though as i had problem with Google play store. Flyme 7 is really beautiful.

How about the google play service?
