Cannot change flyme 6.1.0.0a to flyme global Edited by User570759708 at 2017-07-17 15:12
HI i currently have installed flyme 6.1.0.0a but i do not want this chinese version as I am in Australia. I have downloaded Flyme 5.2.5.0g and put the "update.zip" on my phone, but when i open it it does not upgrade. the phone reboots and appears to be changing OS but then suddenly, after only 1 minute, it returns to my home screen and the phone is back to normal, as if nothing had happened. the same result when i try previous Global versions. how to i change it? regards jason

There is a Spanish based tutorial to do what you want. It can be done with flashfire.

Ipriebov replied at 2017-07-18 21:52 i got half way through this tutorial but when i tried to install supersu it failed because my su binary is already occupied/rooted by flyme. Flashfire app requires supersu to run.

User570759708 create on 2017-07-19 13:49 Why don't you try to make a backup of your phone's user data and then you set it to new. This way you'd be able to make the root installation correctly.
