About GMS Blocking Issues on Uncertified Devices(More language options for your reading:Русская версия Українська версія Bahasa Indonesia)
Attention:We received a lot users' inquiry about after the registration, the phone's status is still 'uncertified'. Please notice that for devices which were not certified when sold, registering with Google does not mean it gets certified! Registering your devices means you will not be blocked by Google and you can download app from Google Play and use GMS normally. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Recently a lot of users are concerned with the news about Google blocking uncertified Android devices from using GMS and Gapps, and users were worried if their usage will be impacted. As we know MEIZU has released certified devices ever since the PRO 7 series launch in 2017. As for devices prior to PRO 7 series, from the information we have up till now, for those MEIZU devices whose GMS had already been activated will be able to continue the usage of Google services and Google apps. If, however, your device is locked, you will be able to resume the usage simply by registering your device to the white list in Google's Device Registration Site. Since unlocking requires Android ID and GSF ID, we suggest all users get these two IDs in advance in preparation for the unlocking process. Users can get these IDs by entering command in ABD Shell, or simply use the app ‘Device ID’. If your device is already locked, you can follow the tutorial contributed by Mishaal Rahman from XDA. (source link: How to Fix the “Device is not Certified by Google” Error, consent granted for quoting. If you want to use this tutorial in other websites or purposes, please contact the author for consent.) 1. How to check if your device is uncertified First, let’s verify if your device is uncertified in the first place. If you’ve seen the above warning already, then your device is definitely uncertified. If you suspect that your device is uncertified but you aren’t sure, here’s how to check. 1. Open the Google Play Store 2. Open the sidebar menu by pulling in from the left 3. Tap on Settings 4. Scroll down to the “About” section. Your device’s certification status should be shown under “device certification.” 2. How to Possibly Unblock Google Apps on an Android Device As we’ve mentioned previously, this move is intended to discourage companies from shipping Google Play uncertified Android devices with Google apps and services on-board. Google doesn’t want to punish regular users by preventing them from using their apps, so that’s why they’ve opened up a webpage where you can apply for an exemption. The webpage is intended for custom ROM users to be whitelisted so you can still use Gapps. The registration webpage is looking for the Google Play Service Framework ID (GSF). Here’s how to properly unblock your Android smartphone or tablet so you can use the Play Store! Your device will still say it is uncertified in the Google Play Store settings. This is normal. All this fix does is white-list your uncertified device so you can still use Google apps and services. 2. Open the app and copy the code in the second line called “Google Service Framework (GSF).” 3. Go to this webpage. 4. Enter your GSF Device-ID in the “Android ID” box. 5. After you tap “Register”, your registered ID should appear on the page. This should allow you to use Google Play apps, If for whatever reason adding your device to the whitelist doesn’t help, please leave comments under this thread, we will contact our partners to find out the reason and possible solutions.

Thankfully my uncertified Pro 6 Plus is still working with Google Play Services (although there are some problems with Play Protect). Can see why I got it so cheap now though! Thankfully newer Meizu phones are Google certified.
