i know that ultra i mean to say about mobiles and their OS you cant compare devs of xiaomi with that of meizu even though they are backed by alibaba atlest for now but hopeing for something better

That's good but I have some doubts.

Back some months when other devices but the MX5 and Pro 5 got FlymeOS 5.

Stagefright was only fixed on the MX5-Flyme5 but not on (e.g.) the MX4-Flyme5, though if both are on the latest there should have been no difference.

At the end of the day: Who knows what FlymeOS developer really do all day long, you are right they should show that security patches were made.

In the past some devices "got security updates" others did not, though both should have been on the same FlymeOS version.

That is really a bullshit! You can't know if the update is being downloaded at all.

You misunderstood my statement there i was stating about that specific update (Flyme OS 5.1.7.0 A chinese stable) was because ultrametric told there is no difference in any firmware and the only difference is language translations, if he is right that update would have got released in G and IN firmware too because just translating firmware from A to G & IN is not a difficult task.

He is wrong and its not the case.
There is a difference between the firmware and you know what they are as a Beta Member

dude I was also in the beta team, until I quit.

And I am right. Himanshu can confirm the difference if he wants to.
But he very likley won't commend on this, writing the truth is not the good advertisement for Meizu.

So leave him out of this, and switch on your own mind.

Get this in your head:
The Global / India FLymeOS is 100% Chinese + some languages - some FlymeOS-Apps.

All that happens when Meizu makes the global / india FlymeOS is, that they hide some Chinese content, but it's still on the phone and you can re-enable it by changing your "local" (what says where you are right now.)

Look at the topic I linked you before the one with the "free music" root your device and change the two lines. -> It makes a global FlymeOS into a China one. That's the only difference between global / india and China.

Or to say the same different:
"A global / INdia FlymeOS is:"
-> A China FlymeOS with the chinese content still on the phone but "not visible" yet it's 1:1 the same.
-> some more languages
-> some important FlymeOS system apps removed.

Software dvelopers only work on the Chinese firmware, basically "there is no global / india" when being strict. it's just the same.

I'm not concerned about having Chinese apps hidden in global or Indian firmware but does the Chinese firmware have google apps and services in them ? No
