Try Kaspersky, if it shows malware then yes it is, other wise it will be a false positive of malwarebytes. Though I have alredy scanned my mobile with kaspersky too and found nothing. It rests on you whether you want to believe it as malware or not.

Looks like you are right, Kaspersky also doesnt show anything, and that lottery ads and popups are coming from TouchPal keyboard that comes with firmware, when removed TouchPal everything is ok.

Though you can use Google keyboard, it's also a very good keyboard app for everyday use. Glad you have solved your problem.

If you are facing problem in installing Google app then Download the zip file I given below and then install every apps inside of that zip file, then after installing every app go to playstore and install maps.
