So again a new "Jio" news. The same cellular operator which said to provide free "unlimited" (actually limited) data, calls, sms and more until 31st December. Named as Jio Welcome Offer. The company launched it for all on September 5.

Today, Jio has confirmed ending the offer on 3rd December instead of 31st.
A Jio spokes person said:

"As per RJIL's filing with the TRAI, the JIO WELCOME OFFER (JWO) will be available to all the customers for subscr iption till December 3, 2016. RJIL wishes to reconfirm that JWO benefits of free unlimited voice and data will continue to be available to all subscribers till December 31, 2016. The consumers, who cannot subscribe to the RJIL services till 3rd December 2016 will continue getting opportunities to avail new offers and tariff plans from RJIL."

Now it is what was expected. Jio services have already degraded. Data speeds are so worse now, feels lile 2G. Calls still dont connect. And its normal as in a Internet scarce country, if someone provides internet and calls for "free", then the services will go down.

''The revised offer of free services by Reliance Jio has been limited to 90 days i.e. December 3, 2016 and therefore is consistent with the guidelines on promotional offers,'' Trai said in an order.
