Problem in flyme 5.1.10.0G Edited by Divesh at 2016-10-13 12:33
i was facing battery draining and heating issue in my meizu m2 after upgrading it to flyme 5.1.10.0G I want to ask that it is a system problem or flyme version problem.

I'm using m2 on 5.1.10.0G but I don't have these problems.Try to clear data or install the firmware again with clearing data.If it doesn't help - report about your problem in Bugs section

I think this is hardware problem, but you go to the security app and go to auto start app and disable unwanted apps

Before installing flyme 5.1.10.0G update i have done factory reset because in earlier version during upgrade to flyme5.10g it is showing software corrupt. After this method i have successfully able to install flyme5.10G.I always disable the background apps but still this problem arises.

Divesh replied at 2016-10-16 13:41 Drain your battery completely until your phone automatically switches off. Then charge your phone (in switched off mode) to 100% without any interruption. Check if battery is working fine. If not repeat the process once again.

Rudraksh replied at 2016-10-16 18:35 But doing this process , I had to take root permission and this will void my warranty. if you know any app which does not required root permission please recommend me.

Divesh replied at 2016-10-17 13:24 Buddy, no app, no root is involved. You just have to drain your battery by using it and follow the rest of the process

Rudraksh replied at 2016-10-17 20:06 Yes there is calibration issue as you said along with few other battery draining issues, I drained my battery till 0 to let it turnoff and the moment when i plugged it to charge the battery percent was around 50%

subhashvarma replied at 2016-10-17 21:28 Oh, then a software update is urgently needed. Because I don't think factory reset or calibration would do anything now.

Rudraksh replied at 2016-10-17 21:51 Yes your right battery calibration can be fixed (At least in my case) by flashing the update once again with clean wipe but the optimisation and battery issues cannot be fixed without an update
