tkb replied at 2016-03-21 15:56 I am curious what will happen next. Either Meizu will be like: Okay we made a mistake, sorry dear precious customers. We will release a HotFix and repair our screw up. Or: Meizu won't give a f*ck. (And I will be the bad guy for pointing this out.)

Pulak replied at 2016-03-21 19:09 (That should answer your question.) As said before 100% Meizu's fault. As you are in the beta team, you can ask Tifa or Himashu. Sascha and I talked to both and explained it long ago. These two know (should know) perfectly well that it was a stupid move of Meizu to set the SecurityCenter to permissive mode. And by doing so cause battery drain and increased internet traffic! And about the explaining. what do you want to hear. I already explained it. Read the whole comment.

Pulak replied at 2016-03-21 19:09 As you are in the beta team, you should know how the SecurityApp of Meizu works. And what it does. If you don't then you should at least know how to find a person, who knows such stuff! So that this person may tell you! Find someone to explain you the full purpose of the Meizu Security App. And ask that person what relation the Auto-Start and all other Permissions have with the Meizu Security App. And ask that person what the permissive mode is! And also ask why it's stupid to have a Security App in permissive mode! That's something you should know, as you are in the beta team.

It would be nice to be able to select all applications with a single click :

tkb replied at 2016-03-21 20:37 By default if the Security Center is active (on all Chinese Firmwares). Most apps are not allowed to auto-launch. So why is your try not a solution: If you select to disable all - you do what the Security Center does by default (if it's working) So simply said... your solution does what the Security Center is supposed to do. But it can't do it on a global / India firmware as the Security Center is disabled (set to permissive mode) There is no need to come up with solutions. Meizu knows how to fix it. The issue here is: -Meizu makes mistakes and knows about it. -Customers complain -Meizu tells the customers "It's because you are stupid (lack knowledge)!" So Meizu is just stupid and arrogant at the same time. (Bad combo)
