Flyme OS 4 had a higher max brightness than Flyme OS 5 with m2 Note. I own two Meizu m2 Note and both my wife and I noticed that maximum brightness has lowered. This is a big issue when using the phone outdoor. I was able to read my phone on the beach before... but not anymore.

Does anyone know a way to maximise the brightess, maybe via a Root app ? Or is it purely kernel related ?
