Delay in Notificationslately there is a serious lag in the notification of certain apps like Whatsapp, Gmail etc. Unless the app is opened the messages dont flow in , for some time the app funtions smoothly and after a while it sort off dozes off.

Same keeps happening with me. One day it is fine the next day this shit happens.
Come on Meizu wake up allow people to unlock boot-loaders and have root the phone. We will get custom roms and enjoy the phone. You Chinese guys are great at hardware but not software. | |

You need to add the app in the notification and exception list in the Secuirty app to prevent Meizu in hibernating them!

Make sure autolaunch switch is on for app(s)... It seems that permission control is a bit too cautious.. And seems to in reset it off when play updates the app... I'm guessing that this is because it defaults off and sometimes doesn't carry autolaunch permission for apps not installed by meizu store(not included in g rom) so watch play store updates and check permissions... Another cause is settings/battery/more modes/standby management... Make sure the app(s) u want to recieve notifications from is in the keep section so it's process isn't killed when the screen is turned off.... Hope this helps :)

Having this problem with my MX4 5.1.7.0A too...
I've set it to auto launch, locked in ram, whitelist in security app, performance mode n etc but still cant get notification in time... Sometimes it delay more than 30min or until I open whatsapp only will receive notifications... | |

@dimmortal - i did try and saw the effects over 2 days - its improved marginally but there is a lag specially when the app has not been opened for more an hour or so. But if there are existing notifications e.g. whatsapp messages then rest of the messages pop up smoothly - this really needs to be checked by the dev team.
