Two days ago, I started having problems with my phone (which I've had for more than a year, and a half already). It would only charge when the cable was in a very specific position. I thought the charging port was just dirty, so I decided to bear with it for a day, and clean it later. I cleaned it, both using compressed air, and some gasoline, but the situation remained the same, and the next day my phone stopped charging entirely - I've tried several chargers, and cables I had lying around, but none of them did anything.

What could be the reason for this? I'm not that tech-savvy, but I think it could either be something with the battery, or the charging port itself. Has anyone else had similar problems? How have you dealt with them?
