Hello everyone,,
So.... yeah, this is a bad review straight forward. I am sure that the M5 Note is a piece of crap, and isnt worth most people buying but the basis of this review and further its "Do not buy this phone" Buzzfeed, YouTube clickbait headline is unfair:

First off - The device was tested with software installed that both were not installed from the OEM (normal) and greatly impacted the overall impression of the mobdro lucky patcher kodi device (not normal). Installing Google Play Services is indeed what many users will do, but installing it and then complaining about the experience and battery drain it causes without providing the AS SHIPPED experience is poor reviewership. Review it as shipped, then explain why GPS sucks on it

Second - The performance section of the review dogs its Geekbench scores. While I have a dislike of mediatek the information presented was again, not fair to the device. The review compares it to 4 year old flagships, when it isnt competing with those it is competing with devices like the G4 Play and G4 which get far lower scores than the similarly priced M5 Note, funny to leave that out... didnt fit the narrative I guess.

Third - The device was tested using Project Fi, an incompatible network

Fourth - The "Not So Good" section has 3 issues the REVIEWER introduced into the testing environment and the last one is a non-issue as few if any phones at this price point have USB-C...

This is just a sloppy review and while I am sure the M5 Note shouldn't be bought by most North American users, it clearly was not targeted at this market for its needs or wants... so why does the reviewer attempt to force it to be so and then complain when it didnt deliver the experience he expected?
