I have downloaded the new global Flyme 5 firmware. Afterwards I placed the zip file in root and click to update but nothing happens. From videos I saw that the icon of the zip file should change to a Flyme icon. Mine just stays a zip file. What am I doing wrong?

Yup, I used to stock file explorer. I first downloaded the new ROM on my PC and then transferred it to my phone. Should I have downloaded on my phone?
