Mistake upgrading to Flyme 7Hi,
I just did a Flyme system update from version 6 to 7 and what a mistake! I noticed now that my phone uses between 1.2 and 1. GB ram instead of around 500MB! My notifications now appear on a white background instead of being transparent, just gtext on the screen. Can I downgrade? Can I turn of this invasive start magazine that puts news on my swipe up search screen. I noticed now that my phone uses between 1.2 and 1. GB ram instead of around 500MB! What the ...!?

And now I see that there is a maximum mobile data limit of 9999MB. This is ridiculous, my download cap is way bigger than that!

i think that you can downgrade from flyme 7 to 5 and then you go up to the 6. Btw you are right this version only brought more bugs and problems, if they they think the new ish design can cover this they're wrong. Luckily the 7.1.0.0 will come out soon ,as they said on twitter, really hope all the bugs get fixed. This version can't really be a stable one lol

Thanks for the input. Can't believe how easy it was to downgrade here's what I did after googling it:
(By the way, I posted in the wrong forum as I have an M6 but the following should apply as I got info on forums for different versions of Meizu) - I downloaded the version of OS here: http://www.flymeos.com/firmware - Shutdown or restart your phone. - Now press volume up button and power button at same time as the phone boots up, then release power button when Meizu logo appears - The phone now will enter update mode, connect it to your PC and it should show up as a removable drive named recovery, copy the update.zip over it. Also when you download the update I assume that you should not rename it. - Once you have copied it across tap the start button on your Meizu to begin. The process itself and first boot might take a while. - When done and phone boots up, mine showed optimising apps and an increasing percentage then eventually got to the home screen successfully downgraded. Even though I downgraded to an earlier version, all my apps and accounts were still present, the only thing different was all my apps moved out of the folders I had put them in and were back on the home screens.
