this happened to me last month, but it pop up it self while I am pressing it i thought it's the end of my phone, though ot prevent those buttons to be always used up i downloaded this app called "MENU BUTTON"
It allows you to have a on screen BACK, HOME, RECENT, VOLUME↑↓, POWER BUTTON and a lot more... to prevent the physical buttons from being damaged by pressing hard and multiple times, its all in one place and i know there are other apps like this on playstore. | |

About your problem i think the best option you have is to bring the device to a nearby service center or any reliable technician. Me i guess i got lucky mine might have been just stucked... and just pop up
