1. Yes, Meizu gives regular updates.
2. Android 6.0 - I'm not sure as there is no great set of features came specific to 6.0 - Most of the features are already existing in Flyme 5 / can also be added later and the regular updates are given for flyme.
3. You can flash beta/developer versions - but Indian beta will not be available to general / public users . So you can try with chinese beta (that has english language too ). Note that your warranty may be void if the device gets bricked while you experiment.,

Other than that.. Trust me Flyme 5 is way better than other android OSes which are available out there. Great optimization , ram management. cool options. You may not need many 3rd party apps for some of the daily utility apps, etc.

Speaking about M3 note, I'm suing the device from last few weeks. This is a great device- excellent battery, fingerprint , etc.
and not to forget its absolutely Stunning Looks.
