Hi all, First time poster looking for some help. Just bought my new M6 a week ago and have been pretty happy with it. But I keep encountering an issue where most google apps are some how stuck syncing. When I first set up the phone it all worked fine and emails were being received immediately. Then I noticed emails dont arrive and saw in Account Settings that the sync status icon just stays in progress. Turned sync off and on, removed account and nothing. I reset my phone and then it worked fine...for a day. Now i have the same issue. I am attaching a screenshot. Android Version: 7.0 / Flyme Build: 6.2.0.1G Any ideas how to fix this recyrring sync issue?

Hello again,
Quick update on the issue above - I just found out that not only google apps are affected. Viber, Whatsapp and Google Duo (which doesn't show up under the Google account but as a separate app) also have probles syncing. So it must be something with the Sync service or software on the OS. Meizu account on the other hand syncs just fine. Any tips are appreciated! Thanks! T. | |

Any resolution to your issue? I even upgraded to the latest firmware downloaded from this website for my phone specifically and still nothing. | |

I think I resolved the issue - I used ES File Exporer to navigate to the app Google Contacts Sync - after opening it's properties settings, I tapped Disable, and then all services except Contacts synced properly. Then I Enabled Google Contacts Sync and it started working as well. All good now.
