You have got us wrong. It's not the phone we hate. The phone from the hardware perspective is great, Meizu has a great engineering and design team, huge respect to those guys. It is the software that kills this phone, particularly the global software. It was developed by some random Indians as opposed to proper Chinese software developed by Meizu's own team. As a result, not only the Chinese ROMs are quicker, more stable and have more features, they are also literally years ahead comparing to the global ones. Those are poorly developed without any open beta-testing program, based on the same outdated android 6.1 as the last year software and it lacks pretty much all the new cool features Chinese ROM has. Ah yes, some things such as heart-rate sensor and NFC were just disabled completely even though they are present in Chinese ROM, most likely because Indian team was just too incompetent to adapt it to global software.
So, in short, if I were you I would consider something else. There is a reason this phone got so cheap lately. On the other hand, if you don't mind absence of all non-chinese languages except English, not always completely working Gapps and some other minor inconveniences like a lot of useless Chinese bloatware, you can just install Chinese ROM and be happy with it.

Build and SoC are only worth something if there is a decent software that can take an advantage of it. Not this case. Camera is mainly a software and in global ROM that is still based on 6.1 so it is shit. It only got decent in Chinese 6.3.0.0A and following 6.3.0.2A which are based on android 7. Global 6.3.0.0 came out 4 month later than Chinese and it got no android 7, which means no improved camera (it requires new libraries that are only compatible with nougat), no improved collapsable notifications, no improved sound (also requires android 7), NFC and heart rate sensor are still disabled which I can't see any reason to do aside of developers' incompetence since those features worked in older Chinese firmware based on 6.1. We got nothing! The main advertised feature of this so-called "update" is that Meizu's own Hot Apps Market now works as it should (again, like it always did in Chinese firmware from the start), like anyone ever used it instead of Google Play Market! And there is no wonder it is so bad, there was no open beta-testing for global users, they just don't care! Still it took them half a year after Chinese android 7 open beta started to release even so badly crippled update! How on the Earth could anyone believe that this development team can ever release the Flyme 7 based on android 7? So yeah, the only thing left for us to enjoy is a great build and SoC, it's a shame that some idiots wouldn't let us use it properly.

No-one knows if it ever gets android 7 and Flyme 7. Pretty unlikely from my perspective since devs can't really get their shit together even in 6.1, more on that in my other posts here.
6.1 builds are straight-forward BAD. They just are. All of them, even Chinese. Those are less bad but still, to make something good of this phone you need at least 6.3.0.0A or 6.3.0.2A which are nougat-based. To install it on the global device you don't really need anything to do, just download and tap on the file. It has English, google services are mostly working except the maps API in third-party apps like Uber. Network bands are universal in all firmware, Chinese also tends to work better since Chinese devs actually work on the modem, but it all goes to android 7, so global users don't get that too.

Thank u guys for ur answers, really appreciate it
but daaaaamn, im shocked, thought meizu is one of the greatest smartphones companies, turned out to be garbage if it couldnt offer a stable android 7.0 interface for its users while others r looking up for android 9, what a shame guys, so i have just 2 solutions, even i go with flyme 6.1 G with android 6 or install the latest chinese flyme 7 with android 7 ?? last flyme 7 is stable or beta ? thank you guys any new ideas, thought, problems anything u wanna say or advice plz go ahead thank you all

Flyme 7 is beta, although after 2 weeks testing it I can tell it is already pretty stable as is. The only major thing that is inherited from the nougat – google maps API that is. Everything else works pretty nice, especially cool thing is the dark mode which is implemented very nicely. I like it a lot better than Flyme 6 even though I would still prefer stock-like custom ROM.
It is unfair to say Meizu is garbage. They create very distinct products unlike most of the brands on the market. Meizu is a really good choice if you are Chinese and don't rely on Google services like western buyers do. I suspect it was one person's poor judgment to put that particular Indian team on the task of developing Pro 6 Plus' global firmware and pretty much leave it on their own, that is killing the otherwise great phone, and it is such a shame. People making such mistakes have no right to work in executive positions.
Oberonmeister replied at 2018-05-01 18:04 i got u buddy, but it still annoying to get a global version and then rom it to chinese version so it would work fine im not saying the whole phone or company is garbage, i know meizu is well known, but lack of softwares and good updates makes the phone worthless why dont they just add languagues to the chinese rom and release it as global and we would be fine lol and no im not chinese haha, but ima update the phone with the chinese rom since i need only english and enjoy it, done haha thank u

They split the firmware to Chinese and Global to not be bothered with all this Gapps situation (Meizu had some bad talks with Google regarding the certification, it is in the past for now, but Pro 6 Plus is still unregistered and whether or not it will ever be – nobody knows, but I suspect it won't since it is doesn't make economical sense because the phone has stopped being produced long time ago; and I think this might be the source of this whole problem with Gapps) and focus on local software that doesn't require Gapps to work and instead relies on Meizu's own services. Meanwhile some executive just got rid of necessity of developing the global rom by passing it to some Indians who screwed it big time more than once, as we all know. Pretty much every person I know uses the phone with Chinese software because Global is so bad in comparison that it is less painful to have not fully functioning Gapps than to use Global. Those who still uses it are either unaware of Chinese firmware or don't really care and use what they get out of the box. Still, most of the people buying such phone are geeks and they are very sensitive to sluggishness and overall bad behavior of the device they know shouldn't be that bad, so they go to internet and find Chinese firmware that is lightyears ahead in terms of features and quality, so they just make an inevitable assumption that Global is garbage. That's how it works and that's why the phone received such a bad background globally even though Chinese consumers are mostly happy with it and are usually surprised that it has such a bad reputation outside of China.
