How to change Meizu Pro 5 to International firmwareHi, I've got a Chinese Meizu Pro 5. Currently I have 6.1.0.0A installed. Other users have told me about the possibility to change the PROINFO text file file in the root folder /dev/block/platform/155700000.ufs/by-name/proinfo to machine_type=M576_intl_official. They suggested to downgrade the firmware to 5.1.2.0G before trying that. I have tried this, but every time the phone is restarted, the value changes back to the old value. Is there some way to reliably allow me to install international firmware?

Try to flash BETA A firmware, then from that point you can flash beta G firmware and then stable G firmware.
I also have Chinese Meizu Pro 5 and I can went back and forth between chinese and global firmware easily using this method. | |
