The MEIZU M6 Note has been released on August 2017
with some incredible specifications for such a low price.
In this thread, I will make a review of MEIZU’s medium range king.

It is the first MEIZU phone that comes with a Snapdragon chipset and in this case, we have the SD625 (2GHz) - Adreno 506 which offers a great balance between performance and battery life.

The MEIZU M6 Note can have 3/4 GB of RAM and 16/32/64 GB of Internal Storage. All models support MicroSD up to 128GB.

Design
In the design category, we have the typical MEIZU design language that just works: beautiful, elegant and durable.
The M6 Note is built using an aluminium alloy which provides premium quality in the hands.
The screen is a 5,5’’ 1080p LCD panel with a pixel density of 403. It’s a decent panel considering the price. The brightness is also very good outdoors. You will not have any problem using it outside
You can buy the M6 Note in different colours: Black, Rosegold, silver and Gold.

Battery
It comes with a 4.000 mAh of battery capacity that supports MEIZU’s mCharge. In my experience, I charged from 10% to 100% in 2h. Quiet slow but still, we shouldn’t forget that it’s battery capacity is big. The SD625 really is a great SOC when it comes to battery life. I get almost 8h of SOT.

Camera
The M6 Note is also one of the first MEIZU phones that comes with a rear dual camera setup.  One of them is a 12mp (f/1.9) and the other one is a 5mp (f/2.0). Both are wide aperture lenses. It also has a quad-LED dual tone flash.
The front camera has a resolution of 16mp

The rear camera can capture up to 4K resolution with EIS while the front camera can capture up to 1080P resolution.

I have to admit that M6 Note’s camera is one of the best in it’s class. Here you have some sample shots that have been provided by my friend Johan and some are mine:

I have to note that the background blur effect is sometimes too much which results into a artificial blur shot. We’ll see if MEIZU will fix this in the future.

Connectivity
The M6 Note supports 4G network in almost any country and has a Bluetooth 4.2
The phone comes with several sensors as usual: Hall magnetic sensor, gravity sensor, Ambient light sensor, infrared proximity sensor, gyroscope,Touch sensor, digital compass, GPS…
Also, we still have a 3.5 mm headphone jack!

Fingerprint
The M6 Note has a front fingerprint scanner called mBack which reads the fingerprint extremely fast and for me, it reads my fingerprint correctly 9 out of 10 times. You can record up to 5 different fingerprints.

Gaming
As far as gaming, this M6 Note can really play almost any game available right now without any problem.

Downside

We don’t have USB Type C which is pretty disappointing for 2017. We also don’t have NFC nor FM Radio. It comes with Android 7.1.2 and we are still waiting to see if MEIZU will ever update it to the latest Android version.
Also, those bezels are too big for 2017.
