Hi, I have a global version of pro 6 plus. I have switch to chinese version - I did not make a full wipe, so my language is still usable. Everything is hungarian (launcher menu, play store, icons) except base android settings. Because I have global version I could back to global from chinese without any special method. I could remove all annoyng chinese apps (wallet, fun videos, Life, etc...) with adb terminal, without root. You can install Google Play and Google Framewrok from Meizu app store! Chinese version much better, faster... and NFC is working. Meizu global firmware policy is very interesting: chinese version get updates ~in every 2 weeks... | |

Yes, you should without wipe. If you need english, only then you can wipe... chinese version is contains english support. I have Nova launcher, you can see that everything is hungarian except "settings". You can see the Google installer next to Gmail. I might add that I have installed international version of Weather and Web browser. You can find these apks in the flyme forum.
