GCAM ON MEIZU M6 NOTEGot the Chinese ROM. 6.1.4.5A - very stable rom, great camera and battery life. I've rooted it through root permissions. But does anyone or has anyone experimented with the GCAM mods on XDA?

Guys, i'm moderating this topic on 4pda, and we haven't found the solution yet. There is a hope that ported ROM from Mi A1 will solve this problem. But now, there's no method to enable HAL3

Ames3 replied at 2018-01-23 14:13 Hi Ames3 - That's awesome. Please keep us updated, Can't you set the permissions on the build prop editor app as read, write and modify to enable HAL3 on the build.prop file? Ultimately, I think you're correct. A unlocked bootloader would do the trick and a ROM port for us to use GCAM, I think gcam on the M6 note would be amazing, I tried setting permissions on the build.prop file and once I restarted the phone - i got a soft brick.
User603460860 replied at 2018-01-24 23:29 We tried to edit the build.prop file, but nothing happened, that's because there are no camera 2api drivers in Flyme 6. Also, I can say, that we will post an AOSP ROM for this device in a week or two (and we have the instructions how to install TWRP).
Ames3 replied at 2018-01-25 13:30 Great News - Please keep us updated. Isn't there a way to install camera2api drivers seperately?
User603460860 replied at 2018-01-25 23:27 Even if you put the libraries of camera 2api in the needed folder nothing will happen, we don't know where could be the main file or line of code that will enable HAL3

Even the stock HDR Meizu camera isn't bad. Imagine what Gcam would do? See my shot below.
