Android versionHi,
I have a PRO5 and my last version is 6.1.0.0G. But I remark that version of Android is 5.1. It's a very old versions and I don't know if today, this version is uptaded by Android team for security patch. So I wonder if it's possible to upgrade to Android 7 for meizu pro 5 and how to? There is any way to make Android up to date for security patch on flyme os?

Hi I find this rom.
http://rom.meizu.com/Firmware/Flyme/PRO_5/6.7.3.3/intl_beta/20170301204401/985cac0a/update.zip (or http://dl-res.flymeos.com/Firmware/Flyme/PRO_5/6.7.3.3/intl_beta/20170301204401/985cac0a/update.zip) Is it a official ROM (I see is a subdomain)? Is it a beta? Is It contained Android 7? No one to answer me?

there's no Android 7 based official ROM.
the version you've found is a beta released prior to the official one (I have no idea what the numbers mean).

On A version, you can have Android 7.
For me A version, makes the system more efficient and more battery life.

Hi,
Same issue, but no answer from Meizu. I'm in touch with the Italian forum as well, but there's no Nougat on the horizon... I don't know what the hell are this guys doing...

juwagner replied at 2018-03-16 22:46 From what I've been observing for more than a year, since the whole fuss about Flyme 6 and "Make Flyme great again", is that Meizu decided to abandon Global market and concentrate on local Chinese market instead. To prove this point lets just recap the chronology: - Flyme 6 based on Marshmallow was announced in November 2016, promising the release by the end of December 2016 - never happened! They released betas instead. - Flyme 6 A was released for Chinese devices in January and promised to release G version shortly - "shortly" eventually meant 6 months later. That was July when G version of Flyme 6 based on Lollipop was released (you can find a number of posts, where it was promised, then delayed, then promised again and delayed again). - It is the middle of March 2018 and Global version still has not been released on Marshmallow basis and no updates were available since July 2017. - Oh, I have just received a Flyme update for A version 6.3.0.2 (Note that the previous update was 6.3.0.0 from January 2018). Do you need any more proof? You can copy paste this to anyone, who suggests you being patient or promises that Meizu engineers are working hard to release G version shortly. I really wait till my Meizu phone dies, so that I have a good excuse to buy a device from a brand, who actually cares about the customers and thinks Global!
