M3s GPS problem since Flyme 6 update Edited by User5204307344 at 2017-09-22 19:26
Hi, So several weeks ago I updated to Flyme 6, global version, with the clear data option. Before the update I had no problem whatsoever with the phone's GPS. Since the update I can barely get the GPS to work. Strava doesn't work, Google Maps doesn't work, Waze works very poorly, amongst other apps. I've tried that trick with the engineer's options and changing the nokia seeting to google setting, but it's still the same, no GPS. I've seen that other users are complaining about the same problem. Is there a fix for this? Also, I updated to Flyme 6 because the phone kept restarting several times a day, without a known reason. It's much better now in that regard, even though it still happens occasionally. And the back/fingerprint sensor stopped working as well and hasn't been solved with the update. Are there fixes for these problems?

I'm giving you a link, this is a Chinese firmware. It will fix all of your problems except for the mBack button not working. It is a hardware issue, you need to go to a service centre to get it fixed. The Chinese firmware is fast and stable but it only supports 2 languages, Chinese and English. Hi rudra964
Thanks for the link. I've installed it but the GPS is still crazy and not working... As for the other issues, haven't installed long enough to know if they will still happen or not (I've installed about 30 minutes ago).
