PRO 6 is COMING!Hi guys, as the big day approaches, are you all looking forward to the PRO 6 launch event? Let's calm ourselves and take a look what are things that we already knew about PRO 6.
This is a timeline that summarizes the features that have already been revealed by Meizu top guys. OK, let's see what we got here: In March 1st, Yang Yan, also known as YY to fans, sent a picture on Weibo (Chinese Twitter variant) to say that "Flyme has brought a brand new interative way to PRO 6". Once this picture was posted, people are so excited that Meizu would definitely be the first Android phone maker to introduce technique resembles to 3D touch of iPhone. On March 16th, Bai Yongxiang, CEO of Meizu, attended the launch event of MTK Helio X20, and posted a Weibo that Meizu PRO 6 will be using Helio X25. According to his words, "RO 6 will be the first phone to use X25, which is jointly developed by MTK and Meizu. This powerful chip made PRO 6 smooth and power-efficient". And on the same day, a picture got leaked by someone with a very astonishing model's backcase on it. The leaker claimed that it was iPhone 7's backcase, and people were awed by the bold design of this phone. But next day, March 17th, Li Nan, the VP of Meizu, posted a even big new on Weibo to state that the amazing antenna was not iPhone7, it was PRO 6. "It was a surprise for you guys, but unfortunately it got leaked. " How special is this antenna? Let me quote words from other competitor's product manager: "This design is actually available in every smart phone maker's lab, however, using a new design before iPhone does will take courage as well as risk. Because people will need iPhone to be convinced this is a good design and thus customers will accept this new design." But apprantly, Meizu accepts the challenge. Soon after the antenna, there were rumors about PRO 6 which showed evidence that force touch will not be used on PRO 6. The rumors got bigger, and on March 30th, Li Nan has to send another Weibo post to clarify that this feature is still there, and also, he said that "the force touch feature on PRO 6 not only supports multiple quick menu selecting, it also supports picture and url preview and third-party menus." After the successful launch of m3 note, J. Wong, the founder of Meizu, posted a breathtaking photo of a black PRO 6. According to J. Wong, this color specially dedicated to PRO 6 is called 'Starry night', which has a very deep and comforting visual effect. These are the things we currently knew about this new flagship. Let me give you another little treat about this new force touch feature: Like it? Awesome! Can't wait till the launch... Superb article @KKPanda Starry Night - Color is awesome and name is even awesome! Maybe Meizu would call it mForce or m3D My Expectations :- 1. A good Price (To compete with Mi 5) 2. Samsung Exynos 8890 (More powerful than Helio x25) 3. DragonTrail glass protection. 4. 3700 mAh Battery (Since the phone has a larger display) 5. NFC 6. MicroSD card slot. (if not then good storage options - 32GB, 64GB, 128GB. Not 16GB)

Himanshu_singh replied at 2016-04-11 15:23 So with what it will be comparing?
in terms of performance only final hands on can tell weather it can compete with A9,SD820 or not. apart from that 10 core weather would be battery saving or opposite of that shall be explained at launch.
at best it's comparison would be close to last year pro5 and s6 :) and maybe huwaei p9 at best . considering kirin 955 is close to x25 or x20
