I'm not sure If you have this in mind but I just checked and I successfully connected a USB pendrive and the Logitech M215 mouse - all work like a charm. One thing though: When mouse is connected I couldn't use Swiftkey keyboard (but since I have the Logitech K800 keyboard on the same USB dongle I could use it instead).
