iOS 9.3 is More Stable Than Android 6.0 MiOS 9.3 is More Stable Than Android 6.0 MAccording to a new report by Apteligent, iOS 9.3 is indeed the most stable iOS version since iOS 8. Its crash rate stands at 2.2%, beating iOS 8, iOS 9, iOS 9.1, iOS 9.2 over an eight day time. Furthermore, iOS 9.3 is said to be more stable than Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Apteligent’s report also presented aforesaid iOS releases having more crash rates, with iOS 8, iOS 9, iOS 9.2 crossing past 3.2%, and iOS 9.1 is drawing near to that level. In difference, iOS 9.3’s highest crash rate is below 2.6%. All iOS releases have witnessed these issues, as you can see from the graph below : Apteligent says that in Android 6.0 Marshmallow, its crash rate stood at 2.6% during the analysis. However, it is not a big difference, but iOS 9.3 still leads in this regard. It also tells us that Marshmallow can provide a same user experience. Android has been repeatedly criticized for its less stability than iOS, but the figures showthat Marshmallow to be very stable in day to day use. I hate ios but...

To be true, I would expect even less crashes from iOS, than it has now xD
I wouldn't pay $1000 for phone, which crashes...

No its not! I have an iPad mini 2, running on iOS 9.2, after iOS 9.x, it is suffering with lags and storage is running out, and on top of that, apps also crash sometimes. And older devices 5s and before are suffering much more

No idea which is lag free or faster..but both of them are just upto the mark in their own field

With my iPad... After some day to regain a lag free system I have to restore it... So i think it's based in how you use it! No tests or benchmarks are useful in this case...

True potential of iOS lies in jailbreaking. Being iOS user for many years can definitely say that jailbroken and correctly setup iOS has no competitors at all. Apple ruins all the strongest things about iOS as: tailored to the hardware OS, highly effecient Object-C not damn java virtual machine which makes Android phones to raise MHz, Gb and etc in constant chase for perfomance while iOS easily does the same in 2X less hardware costs, no or very few (last year) viruses, no fragmentation, thus easier and faster development process for software compaines, and for years - except last two - user frendliness. Stupid google policy from the very beginning made android spreading everywhere without any control as for now we have the situation when software companies have to test their products on 453+ different sizes, screen height, config and android fork devices. ITS a such a stupid mess. Making from the very beginning some strict rules to set several sizes, hardware and software changes would easily made Android true leader. Not the brutforcer, which is leading in nowadays world just in amount of active devices. What else I really hate about android is that bought recently device turns old in just a year and year and a half you wont get any updates at all. Forget about security bugfixes, forget about new options and new versions of AOS, forget about performance. Thats why I and millions of other people chosen iOS as a hassle-free environment for work and entertainment. My last iPhone 4S got 4(!) major os updates (iOS 5-7). While I have to admit that I made jailbreak after every update to clean the phone of all the shit its filled in to make it smooth and run quickly as new, NO ANDROID OS phone can give the same. If to consider that you HAVE to do the same with any Android phone after unpacking and still you can count on for maximum 2 or quite rarely 3 major OS updates, than its expected that iOS was a quite a wise choice. For at least 2015. But september 2015 overturned everything for me and shown that Apple forgot about their main goal to be a leader and presented exquisite shit for a price of airplane without any significant innovations, and buggy iOS release, shown at least to me that Android made a giant leap for these years thanks to chinese manufacturers bringing great value of quality and price. So I decided to give Android a chance and now I can definitely say that Android can be a true leader if it will get rid of its fragmentation and change its update mechanism. It got rid of most stupid bugs and ugly UI, most of pain-in-ass performance problems are gone and Android is getting ready to match strength with more bulletproof but moving to more and more darker side iOS as an equal, not the chaser.

baymax2000 replied at 2016-04-03 00:02 That's the worst thing not only apple users but usual people hate about android users. Is that every bare-ass feels great chauvinism to anything he or she doesn't ever knew about or not even had one. So lame. Such kind of unreasonable position is like a penis. Good if you have one, but don't take it out and show it to people. iOS is just different than Android. Every OS has its pros and cons and its good. Thus we have choice.
