We cannot even remember the time when mobile phones were only used to make a call and send a text, today we can do almost everything on it. One of those many things include modes of entertainment; and we are here to bring you a list of six Android games that you must play this week.

6. LEGO Batman: Beyond Gotham
After releasing third-person actions games on Star Wars, Harry Potter and Lord Of the Rings, LEGO has now added to its list – LEGO Batman: Beyond Gotham. This was released sometime last year, however it has only very recently become available on the Play Store.
The simulation allows you to battle and build your way through the DC universe, solving puzzles and changing costumes to give yourself different powers. The LEGO Batman: Beyond Gotham costs US$4.99 and Rs.318 at the Play Store and includes in-app purchases.

5. QuickBoy
QuickBoy is a free-to-play game with a runner that features zombies. It is a side scrolling auto-runner and needs you to perfect your timing in order to avoid all the obstacles in your way. It is set in a post-apocalyptic world where even the menu is carefully customized. Apart from that, this game also has some cool combo systems for you to win points for well-timed jumps. Yet, another great way to while away your time.

4. Star Wars: Uprising
Star Wars: Uprising is NOT the new Star Wars movie, it is a rather new mobile game that bridges the gap between Episode VI and the upcoming Episode VII (Star Wars: The Force Awakens). In the game, you find yourself in a simulation where you can can actually play out the story ahead of the Episode VII movie release in December. You can complete quests, level up your character, learn new Jedi abilities and battle against the Galactic Empire. Sounds like fun and it’s for free.

3. Need For Speed: No Limits
This is the latest game in the long-running, almost classic game series. This version will need you to compete in races to prove your reputation and your car. The game is set in an urban surrounding and is mostly made up of short races. EA has improved the cars and environment in this version. So go and check it out soon.

2. Prune
Described as “A love letter to trees” on Play Store, Prune is an award-winning puzzle game that hit iOS first and is now on the Google Play Store. This game concerns tree cultivation. Once your tree begins to grow, you have to ensure it reaches its full height and also carefully trim its branches. Once the branches hit the sun, they will begin to flower and once you have a certain number of flowers you beat a level. Eventually, as you progress, the obstacles in your way will increase. This game is priced at Rs.132 on the Play Store.

1. Plants Vs Zombies 2
This one is a classic tower defense game and so is its sequel. Here you will have to take the help of assorted shrubbery to defeat an encroaching zombie army. This strategy game has gotten many good reviews and is touted as being almost ‘un-putdownable’. Each stage has its own set of unique obstacles that increase as the level increases. Plants vs Zombies 2 is available for free on the Play Store.
