Use king root to root. Battery performance as usual, nothing amazing after root. If you want to root for just saving a bit of battery then it is not worthy at all. Rooting is needed if some another changes you want in your phone.

If you want to use an advanced mode like exposed,custom ROM or any apps that need root permission then try kingroot.
Otherwise no meaning to root the device. | |
