why is flyme 6 on android 5.1so i have an china version of the mx5 so i updated to flyme 6 stable form the page and i was shock to see that it is in lollipop i mean if you couldnt put android 7 i would understand it but at least put android 6 in the phones, anyone knows why meizu took this option to leve lollipop an outdated os

Flyme 6 is on the same Android version as you have Flyme 5. New devices will have it on Android 6, and older will have it on 5.1
Android base for Flyme (at this moment) doesn't change anything. | |

The chances of MX5 being updated are very low. It's better to not expect an android base update.
