Updating is easy, but that isn't a problem and it never has been. The problem is the frequency of updates and the number of rom versions. Especially now that you have introduced way more devices than before. In my opinion you have bitten off more than you can chew. Several (international) devices still run on Flyme 4.x instead of Flyme 5.x. Having that said even Flyme 5 is based on Lollipop which is not the latest version. This means that owners of certain devices run a dated Flyme version based on a dated Android version. One has to wait months before an update reaches his or her device thanks to the large amount and confusing number of rom versions. As mentioned before you have U,C,A,Y,Q,MY, I (G) and now even IN. This is not only confusing, but it requires more precious developing and updating time, and Flyme already needs a lot of developing (customizing and testing time) which makes it even worse. In short my opinion would be drastically reduce the amount of rom versions. Perhaps even provide a clean/stock Android versions for people that prefer faster updates over Flyme. The update procedure itself is fine.

Your update process is very slow for international customers. How long we, the owners of MX4, have to wait for the Global Flyme 5? Why it took only few days between release dates of A and G versions for MX5, but for MX4 it takes months?
If this is a way to force us to buy newer phones, you wrong. You will force international buyers to never buy Meizu phone again.

I don't understand WHY i must unroot the phone to receive the OTA's update. Is it true?
