I think till when we will receive flyme 6 update there will be a new version of android available in market ie android 8. Atleast meizu and flyme developers learn sth from its competitor MI. They have already launched its MI UI 8 based in android 7. But flyme is giving effort to pulisize its flyme 6 based on lollypop. Its just like giving a kid lollypop who is weeping for a good chocklate.

  I like functions Flyme 6, but work on root Android 5.1, this I do not like for me.

Flyme 6 is great and beautiful, but we don't want Flyme 6 vs Android 7, we want Flyme 6 based on Android 7.
It's better for Meizu, for developers and for us.
E.g., Multi-Windows: Android 7 has a native multi-windows, so it's easier for Meizu to implement it on Flyme, it's easier for developers update their apps and it's better for us because we will have more compatible apps.
Security: do you think that make a payment with Lollipop without security patches is safe? At first we need to have no vulnerability or exposure, then you can make it safer with Flyme 6 features.
File-based Encryption, Direct Boot, SELinux enforced, etc., are the basis, Flyme 6 is a (great) added value.

Make Flyme 6 great again, let Flyme 6 run Android 7.

It is good that flyme  6 has android  7 like features but what happnes if it runs on Android  7 then there is no need for a comprasion between flyme  6  vs Android 7

dear developers of Flyme, two things. First if you want that we believe that Flyme 6 is better than Android 7, you have to completely fork Android and implement your API and you service at the same that Google does. But you can't do that because you don't have the money and the capacity. it's simple you can't do that.
second thing. we here in Europe aren't the same of Chinese market. probably in China the Android version isn't important but here the Android version is very important.

the meizu brand here in Europe isn't well know. we are early adopters and if you don't go in the right way we can *** off your brand. You can have the problem that you don't sell nothing more here. to much people isn't speaking very well of your brand and you are in the right way to remain in China and not sell more here. but I believe that if you continues in this way you are in the way to be acquired by Xiaomi or remian to produce poor mp3 reader. {:emo_apple_

are you reading the comments on the forum are you trying to fail or what? people need Flyme upgrade but need most Android version upgrade. if you upgrade Android versions you can make less job to integrate things,your multiwindows is very useless if you confront it with the multiwindows on Android 7. simply because you aren't at the same level of the developers of Google and can compete with all the community around the world that work on Android.
