i would try to be as forward as possible:

>bought phone from aliexpress
>seller flashed ROM to install GLOBAL flyme for a chinese meizu device by changing IMEI numbers (i get Wifi error: "NVRAM WARNING: ERR =0x10", so i know for certain he flashed the rom to change the IMEI number.
> i receive my meizu pro 6, notification LED not working and 6 hours battery performance.
> Want to root phone to restore battery life and notification LED but flyme says i'm already logged in.
> contacted seller but he says he has no password for me and the account is not his.
> Did factory reset, but is not resolving issue
> no recovery partition available, so cannot boot into android recovery mode.
> now i'm stuck with a meizu pro6 device that is not working properly.
