And can you please specify what critical update or problem you are talking about? Alternatively if you are using the M681H version of the m3 note then try upgrading to 5.1.6.2A. It will solve almost every single problem of yours and the battery optimization is nothing short of awesome. (It is the Chinese version of the ROM but still has all other languages pre-installed.)
