i personally hate rooting but rooting helps in unlocking the os to its full potential or even more,,you can everything you desire after rooting,,rom porting is done after rooting and you can use another rom in your phone,,,like MIUI or cynogen mode etc,,,personally i think flyme is best and not need these things
