MEIZU, here is a history lesson of Android Version Releases:

7.1         Nougat -           October 4, 2016
7.0         Nougat -           August 22, 2016
6.0.1      Marshmallow - December 7, 2015
6.0         Marshmallow - October 5, 2015
5.1.1      Lollipop -          April 21, 2015
5.1         Lollipop -        March 9, 2015
5.0         Lollipop -        November 3, 2014

So, we are in December, Flyme 6 will come out of beta next year... So, 2 years after 5.1 was launched and over 1 year for android 6, you still want 5.1 and 6 on the devices... Makes no sense (even as a business model because newer models are also falling behind the new versions).

I have to imagine that Android 7 will come out in 2018, if we follow the release patterns made by Meizu.
