Specs:
5-inch 720p (1280x720) HD display | Octacore Mediatek MT6750 processor with Mali T860 GPU | 2GB/3GB RAM | 16GB/32GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB) | 13MP rear camera with PDAF | 5MP front camera | 3020 mAh battery | Runs FlyMe OS 5.1 (based on Android 5.1)

Availability: This phone is available in two variants (2GB RAM+16GB ROM) priced at Rs.7,999 and (3GB RAM+32GB ROM) Rs.8999 exclusively via Snapdeal.

The screen is 5-inch IPS panel with pixel density of roughly 294 PPI. Good for viewing movies and photos and very good viewing angles. Also legibility under bright light is good  but not excellent. The screen is made up of Asahi glass, instead of Corning Gorilla glass to ensure shatter-proofing the display. I couldn’t go for a drop test . The screen is with 2.5D rounded edges giving it a very elegant looks.

The build is all metal with excellent finishing. The body is matte finish and rounded edges on every side, very comfortable to hold in the hand. Also smaller form factor with 5” makes it much more easier to hold then 5.5” m3note. Speaker and microphone are at the bottom on either side micro USB port. On the right hand side there is volume up and down button below which there is the power on and off button. On the left hand side, there is only SIM tray. This tray can take either two nano SIMs or one nano SIM and one micro SD card which can take upto 128GB. On there is only one 3.5 mm audio jack port. At the front there is the beautiful 5” 2.5D curved glass. At the top there is in call speaker with 5MP front camera and usual sensors on either side of it. There is also a single colour notification LED at the top of the screen. At the bottom of the screen there is mTouch 2.1 which doubles as Fingerprint Sensor with 0.2s response time. At the back, there are antenna cutouts at the top and bottom. There is a 13MP with 4 element lens and f/2.0 aperture. Below the camera there is a dual tone LED flash and Meizu branding.

The conclusion: From the initial impression, it seems, it is a very good buy at this price for the users who likes small form factors. The build quality is excellent, screen is a kind of OK and phone runs smoothly. Drawbacks as I noticed, as the SIM tray is hybrid, you can not use 2 SIMs and micro SD card at the same time. This is a good buy for users with normal usage. I feel high end games won’t run smoothly in this phone for a longer period of time.
