The mback button and the fingerprint sensor just stops working. I am running 5.1.11.1A latest version. I can push the home button and it works but when I tap on it, it doesn't work. Also the fingerprint sensor is not working. And the settings for the fingerprint in the "Settings" menu is also not opening up. When I press on it, the keyboard comes up and nothing happens. I have tries reinstalling, reflashing, hard reset and everything I can, nothing is working. Please help. @Meizu and anybody.

I think solve after factory reset also. But if not solved means sensor failure you need to visit service center.

I have the very same issue. Factory reset helps for a while, but in a couple of hours the sensor fails again. The service center refused to accept, because there's a risk to damage the screen during replacement of the sensor. Meizu needs to acknowledge that they have put a crappy hardware into Meizu MX5. I saw many people reporting the same problem over and over again.
