In today's world where privacy is at risk at everything we do , Some hackers can hack have exploited even the safest messenger's [As said by its developers] till date.
So do you really trust the app you use for messaging?  Even if it has an End to End encryption do you trust it ?

For those who dont know what is End to End Encryption [E2EE] , it is a system of communication where only sender and reviever can read the message.

Though End to End Encryption doesn't mean that the messages can't be traced . It is because most of the messaging apps still record and store alot of metadata on your calls and messages that could reveal some of your personal information including dates and durations of communication , as well as participants number .

This was just recently proved when the app was put to the test earlier this year when an FBI subpoena and gag order demanded a wide range of information on two Signal users, but the authorities got their hands on information that’s less or no use in the investigation. As Signal keeps as little data as possible on its users, and therefore Open Whisper Systems was unable to hand over anything useful to the FBI agents that could help them in their investigation.
Here's what the FBI demanded on the two suspects:

Signal includes a clever method for confirming the person you're calling is who they say they are and not intercepting your call. Both callers see the same randomly generated two-word phrase. If you think you might be speaking to an imposter, simply demand the other caller say the security phrase.

Chatting And Messaging At The Same Time
