If you make it customisable (at least an on-off slider in settings -having a slider for each app that asks for notification access would be even better-) who wants can use it and who wants wouldn't. It would take readlly a few lines of code I suppose.

I would really love to see that in next versions of Flyme, remembering that not everyone will often read the notification bar or just directly remove every notification, it's very important for us to keep notified with that counter, so we don't miss anything,
