I would choose a human driver. There are some reasons for this choice: Failure of technology It is very much possible that the Robotic car could develop some technical snag of connected parts within car like onboard cameras or sensors. In such a scenario when even one part fails to respond, it could be quite a risky affair for the passengers of the vehicle. Possibility of a Virus or hacking Since the car is always required to be connected to the internet for GPS, navigation etc., it is quite possible that the car's system and onboard computers could get a computer virus and lead to a malfunction of the robotics. Some hackers might even try to hack into the cars onboard computers and could even compromise with the safety of the passengers especially if he is an influential person like for eg. President of a Country. Human intelligence under poor road conditions Humans could better judge certain situations especially on Indian road conditions like potholes and help avoid them and drive safely through them. The driverless cars might not be well designed to handle such bad road conditions. Stray animals On Indian (and many other developing countries) roads we often see a lot of stray animals like stray dogs or stray cattle. Sometimes these stray dogs or cats suddenly run in front of the vehicle when they are playing around or fight with other animals. Under such a scene if the car is at a high speed the driverless car might not be able to judge the situation and might lead to either the animal or the passengers inside to get hurt. Humans (who face such situations often) would be able to tackle this better. Could lead to increase in crimes Crimes like kidnapping or murders could increase as the onboard computers and cars systems could be hacked via internet and the technology could be misused for something like murder through accidents or kidnapping by hacking and controlling the car from a remote location Internet speeds and Network drops A driverless car would require to be connected to internet continuously but in a country like India where the internet speeds are not very fast and network drops are very common the safety of passengers could be at a risk. Imagine you are at high speeds in such a car and suddenly there is a network drop and the robotics might not know of an upcoming curve on the road or oncoming traffic. Sounds risky right? Hence it is always better to trust yourself (humans) rather then to trust technology with the safety of yourself and your loved ones...

Support human driver because: 1.Millions of unregistered vehicles, poor quality roads, rapid illegal urbanization also lots of issue in India. So as per India Robotic drivers never a practical idea India. 2.Unemployment a mojor issue in India so without solve never want that drivers loss their driving-related jobs. 3.malfunction or system crash by any chance software crash then harmful for all. 4.Customer concern about the safety of Robotic drivers,as previously occurred with operatorless elevators. 5.Interpreting problem robotic driver weak to interpreting body language from traffic polices and others. 6.If any complex situations arise when need manual drving which inexperience. So in my view Human drivers more more better also reliable than technology.

I would rather choose a Human driver instead of a Robotic one. This is a vast topic and I would like to sum up in short.
1. Humans can interpret and handle an accident situation better than an Robot and more faster than it. 2. Since robots are a machine, they can malfunction and can be penetrated by hackers. 3. There can be communication issues too with your robot driver. 4. Recently there was a few crash incidents that happened with Google's Self-Driving car. Which means that its not completely reliable. 5. It may be possible that the robots may not identify the peds or the surroundings properly in different weather conditions, thus leading to a mishap.

Robotics drivers are not stable.Google is making smart driving accident, other firms are doing the smart drive crash.
The risk of hacking, more than enough to get the car navigation. human drives use better,As long as they do so speed (speed ) I don't trust anything that is not stable,i use myself better. The pleasure of working(drive) there.. Human Driver Best

I will choose a human side: As we're aware of many examples, data of various big scale companies are hacked easily. That can be done same with this technology, apart from that if Robotic driving is there and if security is penetrated then it can be easily controlled remotely, which is not a case in human side. The human mind is fare enough fast to take a decision in accidental and other like situations. Privacy is the myth in this world. You have to take care of your safety by own. I would like to quote this "It is only when they go wrong that machines remind you how powerful they are." a big personality said it. The statement is fair enough to justify my opinion also. That's why I would prefer human side driver.

CONCLUSION:-Such technology is mint for upper class people those who have money power and who will compromise his or her life with robot or computer thats the big question.

Robotic driver is still a vision only.
I can see the following problems that are going arise -
| |

Even if robotic drivers are tested and verified as safe to employ. What about the real driver jobs?
Humans that are employed as drivers with cab companies like Uber, Ola, Didi are the first ones to face the brunt. Enough jobs have already been replaced in industrial sector with robotics. Now automation wudn't be required to be upgraded to such a point where the competition in employment is also including these robots(enough humans everywhere). Then there is surely this thing as emotion that a human does, this cant be replicated for sure. Personal automatic driving cars like Tesla may be of a comfortable use if they are totally proved safe. This is purely needed only when a driver needs to relax for a bit, but wants the drive to go on. Radical Example: Nick fury is almost killed in Captain America: Winter Soldier, of course that is a combined action from both him and his AI. But still trusting a human is a bit more safe. No technology is ever fail proof. There is always a hack.

I think human driver is more reliable than robotic ones though the technology advanced on the ground that technology cannot cope in situations in case of emergency like fire, accident etc.So in my point of view human driver is the safest.
