This is just Depressing. No updates since 3 months.I brought this phone over the likes of Xiaomi and Asus because I was satisfied with my original M1 note. But, this is just Wrong.
It's been 3 months since the last update. In the mean time, I've got 5 updates for my pixel 2xl and 4 updates for my OnePlus 5T. The security patch on this device is from November 2017. The phone hangs repeatedly even after upgrading to global version and removing bloatwares via root. Sometimes it doesn't even recognize the SD card. Snapdragon 625 may not be as good as SD835/SD845 but coupled with 4gb ram, it shouldn't hang while doing simple tasks, sadly it does. This is going to be my last purchase from meizu, I didn't buy this phone to be used as my daily driver, but as a secondary backup device, because I wanted to support the company that once used to be innovative and dedicated. That's all gone now, meizu is lacking in every aspect, they don't even care about their existing customers. Instead of releasing cheap knock-offs of popular brands, meizu should get back to being itself, to understand the end customer and give a phone that truly is value for money. I regret investing around 350$ on a poor smartphone with zero customer support and product updates. If you are wondering about buying a new meizu device, I kindly suggest you to look elsewhere. Goodbye meizu, it was fun while it lasted.

User620832772 create on 2018-06-01 08:37 I use Google services that must be integrated into the rom to be fully functional and to have the device marked as certified. That's a G rom feature that us global users have. But nevertheless, it doesn't matter. Meizu is bad when it comes to global rom and I hope their today's announcement is a positive step.

Yes, this seems to be plain cheating by Banggood: I ordered the global, their order confirmation referred to the global but they delivered the Chinese version. Specially this makes me bitter because LTE M20 band was the main reason (together with the camera) why I chose M6 Note.
Life is for learning, now I know whom not to recommend.

irmasi replied at 2018-05-19 16:55 Im not sure for any other hardware diferences "product name" line is missing from my settings. there are some not official online reselers , even importers , that preflash chinese models with global roms . the reason is propable as stated in post #7 to sell them more expensive . maybe thats your case with "Q" and "H" confusion

I have not rooted neither flashed the phone, yet.
In 'Settings', last item is 'About phone', there last section is 'Details' and there are listed various things: 'Product Name: M6 Note' 'Model: M721H' 'Serial number: 721QECR...' 'MEID:.....' IMEI1: ....... .............. I wander what are the differences between hardwares in ver H and ver Q?
