I have Meizu MX5 with flyme 5.1.11.1A and I have an update available: since 30 december 2016 I can download flyme 6.0.0.0 A. I downloaded it, I tried to install it with clear data, but it says "firmware corrupt". Why? | |

guys, please read my posts - I said that I succeeded to install 6.0.0.0A.
After that, I said that I am dissapointed about flyme and Meizu, because even with the latest firmware, they didn't solve the problem of not receiving push notifications. Do you have the same problem? Do you receive in real time push notifications from Whatsapp, Gmail, etc ? I do not. Since flyme 5.1.6.0. | |

i too faced problem 2to 3 times after that it solved with uc browser .i downloaded by using uc browser

I am already waiting since the flyme 5.1.6.0A.
After that, they made many updates, now I have the latest, but not solved. How can they make so many updates without solving a critical BUG? Because this is the true - it is a critical BUG, it is not a "nice to have" feature that I request from them. But they considered more important other things - like app animations and fonts. | |

i tried for many times and the same error I encountered.
Yesterday, though, it worked. Now I have flyme 6.0.0.0A. Nothing special with it, no improvement  Only animation aspect from iPhone (when opening and closing an app).The big problem is: we still have the BUG with notifications. I don't receive notifications from applications, example Whatsapp. I can't believe that Meizu and Flyme OS made few releases since 5.1.6.0 but untill now they dind't solve a critical BUG. They believed that changing aspect of theme was more important that receiving notifications in right time (Very dissapointed!!! | |

If it's giving error "Firmware corrupt", then it is sure that the download file has been corrupted.
Try downloading it again... I was on flyme 5.1.12.0G and downloaded flyme 6.0.0.0A , flashed without wiping the data from the inbuilt file explorer and worked like a charm.. | |
