All of us have been left confused whether Flyme based on latest android 7 (Nougat) is due soon or not. Its due to the fact that Meizu showed laziness in moving from Lollipop to Marshmallow, when most of the devices in the market runs on Android 6 almost all of the Meizu devices are still running on android 5 or android 4 (except Mx6 and Pro6). So, for most of us it is hard to believe when someone mention about a Flyme Version based on android 7 (Nougat). But I am here with a good news for all of us.

The Meizu Indian team has revealed us their opinion on android 7 while answering to the frequently asked questions. In a question where it was asked

"Q: When will you rollout marshmallow?

answer was

A: We’ll try our very best to rollout marshmallow for every device within this year. But since Android M is not a very big upgrade, and Flyme has a lot of features that is there in M. A near possibility is that we might skip M and upgrade to Android N directly. "

last line  of the answer clearly gives us a clue about on going work on a Flyme version based on android 7. With Flyme 6 expected to be released soon its likely that it could be based on Nougat.
