Smartphones are primarily designed for data-mining, that's why smartphones are so cheap, compared to what's inside and the labour and logistics involved. Manufacturers can make as much, or even more, profit on selling profiled data of their customers, as on their products itself. Microsoft's Xiaomi is a cardinal example in this.

In this perspective I gave my consent to the Meizu company, but they are not the only ones who are after my data.
