Camera flash bug (photos are dark)? So I just tried taking some photos with the flash on and for some reason the photos turn out very dark now, almost black as if no flash was used at all. The flash itself seems to be working fine, I mean it flashes, same brightness as before, a blinding light, the flashlight app works fine so it doesn't look like a hardware problem, works fine in the video mode too.
I didn't have this problem like a week ago, everything was fine. But now it seems like the camera snaps the picture a split second AFTER the flash has already turned off or something like that. M3 Note \ Android 7 \ Flyme 6.2.0.2A

I have the same problem and it all happened after update to 6.2.0.2A, the flash works fine, when the camera try to focus, but there is a second flash but is too short and not that powerful, Also, when you try to open the camera in lock screen, you need to open it twice 'cause first time returns to lock screen!!. There is an other problem with the light sensor, in Auto-brightness don't work.

rudra964 replied at 2017-12-06 20:51 I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say here. I took you like 10 days to reply and that's all you have to say?? Maybe point in a right direction where we can submit the bug or say that you already passed the note to the dev team? Some reassurance would be nice. Oh well.
Yordy replied at 2017-12-05 02:22 I switched to the beta firmware and the flash stopped working completely, I was like wtf, was that really a hardware problem after all, the led was just slowly dying? The torch didn't work, nothing, like the flash was dead. I kept checking the flashlight app from time to time but no, it stopped working. And then like an hour ago I got an OTA firmware update and !! oh the miracle!! the flash has returned from the dead, it works HOWEVER the problem with the dark photos is still there. The short second flash is supposed to prevent the red eyes or something like that but due to some bug it's now out of sync or something along those lines.

Waterblu replied at 2017-12-11 08:49 You are using a Chinese firmware and this is a global forum for global firmwares. Want to report bugs to Chinese developers? Go here bbs.flyme.cn assuming that you can read, write and understand Chinese.
rudra964 replied at 2017-12-12 18:18 Unfortunately I cannot read or understand Chinese. It's just that Chinese firmware suits me most, I bought the phone in China when I was visiting so it already had Chinese firmware, the release schedule for CN firmware is a lot better etc. Look I didn't mean to sound rude or anything, I really like Meizu, I own 3 Meizu devices. I've encountered a problem and wanted to let you guys know. Am I really being forced to use a global firmware and if I'm on a CN firmware I'm pretty much on my own? Damn, language barriers really suck.
