This process won't work for most of the users because the flash tool can't detect their device properly. It shows that the device is connecting and disconnecting continuously while it is plugged in.

Not sure if the average user will be able to follow you. It's better to just get the phone reflashed from a service centre.

i have it too, and i had a hard bricked device too which died while updating to Nougat, after talking with many users i came to know that all of them had the same issue, SP Flash tool reccognised their devices as VCOM which kept connecting and disconnecting every few seconds. As a result, it is impossible to flash anything on the phone without an mrt dongle.

Was your phone being detected as VCOM? And i'm not opening the link until you remove the URL shortener.
